Day out in Beckwithshaw today and seen 9 Red Kite, Whimbrels,Snipe, Lapwing, Rook, and a running Hare but only got a snap when it crouched down.-:

                                          Corvids & about 20 Gulls flying over garden and landing
                                           in field at back but couldn't tell you what sort of gull.

Sparrowhawk comes visiting

Busy day in the garden today after a weekend at Crufts dog show-:

                                          8 Goldfinch
                                          2 Blackbird
                                          2 Greenfinch
                                          2 Robin
                                          2 Collared Dove
                                          1 Wood Pigeon
                                          1 Hedge Sparrow
                                          1 Stock  Dove
                                          1 Chaffinch
           lots of corvids and a  beautiful female Sparrowhawk,
                        last night Badger and woodmouse.

Very quiet in the garden at the moment, the goldfinch are still arriving
but not in as many numbers and the usual corvids still popping in all the time.
